I'm no newbie when it comes to computer mouses. I've been using computers for at least 14 years now, and I've had at least 4 wireless mouses in that time frame. So when I purchased Microsoft's Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 (model: 1359), I was already familiar with how a wireless mouse should work and feel. This mouse turned out to be such a disappointment that I feel obligated to warn others before they consider purchasing it.

The Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 has a nice sleek look. I bought the black and gray colored version. The only thing I like about this mouse is it's look. Aside from that, it fails at just about everything else.

This mouse is probably ideal for somebody with a desktop computer. But for a laptop, it just doesn't make the cut. My biggest objection to this mouse is the usb plug it comes with. It's way too sensitive. For example, I'm constantly lying in bed using my laptop, and sometimes I may move around on the bed to adjust position and my laptop may wobble a little while on the bed. This has proved to be a problem for the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000. The USB plug is so sensitive, that if slightly nudged by the bed or moved just a tad bit, it will stop functioning correctly and I'm forced to unplug it and plug it back in again to get back to business.

Another con about this mouse is that the finger wheel (the wheel in the middle of the mouse that allows you to scroll up or down a webpage), broke after about 4 months of daily use. It just doesn't work anymore. This was also a major negative aspect about this mouse, because I've always enjoyed using the finger wheel when browsing web pages, and many other mouses come equipped with a similar wheel that won't break.

All in all, I would give this mouse a 1 rating on a scale of 1 to 10. For anybody considering this mouse as their next purchase, think again. I will never purchase another Microsoft mouse after this one.
